A parcel for you!


I told you about my favourite brand of all times, right?
And I told you I´ve ordered from them for the first time online. Today I picked the parcel up from the Post office. And I want to share the experience of unpacking it with you.
A quick reminder why I love that brand so much:
- In 1988 a young Austrian made his dream come true and started his own company: herbs and teas produced and packed in a natural environment. 
- Today the company is about 500 employee big, 300 farmer all around the world are delivering organic, fair trade products, many shops around Austria and other countries as well. 
- The products are AMAZING!
- Package is recyclable or even compostable.
- The bags are hand packed.
- The "Outfit" and the labels are funny and colourful.
- You feel all the love in every single product!
- Palm oil free, sustainable, fair trade, natural ... just a few attributes to mention. 
- The owner wins one prize after another for his new ways and his visions!

I couldn´t wait to open the bright yellow parcel. "A parcel for you" written on it. Do you see the cute hedgehog delivering a flower above?  

Open the first flap: 
"Can you already smell the herbs?" 
  


And beneath it:
"Hand packed by ... Petra!" ("Petra" is hand written with a black edding.) 


Let´s start with the "side packs":
A booklet with even my name written on it!
"This will warm your heart, Ursula."
Little booklets with recipes for cookies.
And a free sample of a spice mix for potatoes. I used that spice mix already back in Austria and I love it!
(The package is no plastic, it´s a natural product, compostable.)  


Inside the booklet there is a Thank you letter, again addressed to me personally, and on the left side you find the main facts which the company is standing for.
Followed by an announcement for new products for the winter and the Christmas season and some recipes.  


There is no plastic in the package! Every rap, even those for the the glass jars and the bottle, is made out of paper and carton! 


But now it´s time for the products! 
I have to confess I ran a bit wild. Mostly by mistake because I misunderstood the conditions for delivery.
I thought I have to order for at least 100 Euro for a delivery abroad. That´s not right. Only delivery abroad will be for free from 100 Euro onward.
Well, I was not too sad to spend all the money on products instead the delivery costs ... 
Have a first look at the content of the parcel: 



Here we go ... two linen bags:
"Everything is so much more beautiful when the sun is shining."
(with the brand´s logo included) 



A LOT OF TEA! 
2x herbal mix: "Best team" - to give a away to friends
two packages of loose herbal mix teas: "Good morning" and "Good mood"
3x herbal mix: "New Years Tea" - with a quote on every single tea bag (For sure I need one box for myself - I love the quotes! - and some bags to give away to friends)  
"Barefoot through the meadow" - herbal mix in "pot bags", which means one tea bag is made for a pot full of tea
"Aunty Trudy´s apple strudel tea" - something new I needed to try!

Next come the sweet tooth thingies: 
2 packages of chocolate cookies "Schlau Kakao" - means the wise cacao - vegan chocolate cookies with orange flavour (All the sweets are called "Little Brats", meant as a nickname for little kids.)
herbal drops for a sore throat "Frog in the throat - it will be fine again"
1 kg of mixed fruit gummy bears (bulk order - they are already stored in glass jars to last a bit) 


Spices next: 
cinnamon in a shaker (to be re-filled later with the paper bag version, the shaker practical not destroyable)
rosemary (I wanna make a natural cleaner with it) 



And last but not least the fruity stuff:
a natural cranberry syrup 
three bread spreads (which I will use for yoghurt as well):
rose hip - I tried that already: sooo creamy and so fruity .. just yummy! 
blue berry
forest berries 


Here is the apple strudel tea "Aunty Trudy´s apple strudel tea" again to show you the package.
I LOVE the tea boxes! They are so colourful and cheerful! Take the lid off and place them in your kitchen - just beautiful! 



And that´s how my tea collection looks in the kitchen ...
The one on the left side is an old stock:
"Loslassen" - "Let it go" - the perfect herbal mix for stressful days! 



Now can you see, why I love that brand so much?
The whole package is perfect!
I love the idea.
I love the products.
I love the packages.
I love what they are standing for.
I love all the love you feel in every single box!

My today´s breakfast:  a big glass of water - in my fancy totem glass (I love it!) and a milk-shake made out of  *** 1 banana, a hand full of frozen sour cherries, linseeds and sesame, cinnamon and organic cacao powder, almond milk ***  Originally I wanted to get up pretty early on this my day off today and head to the beach in the morning.  I did get up at 5:30am but I absolutely didn´t feel like already beginning the day. When Grandfather greeted me first ... (a HSP blog)

My year 2022 did start a bit untypical.  Well, on the second thought I have to admit it was completely predictable. As I was so excited for the New Year to start I tried to finish every open task during December. My goal for 2022 is to make it a "model-year". That´s why I allowed myself a last sloppy month in December. Means, I was eating completely unhealthy and I didn´t care about the money I spent or the packaging of stuff I bought.  The result was the predictable part of the story: On December 31st I was so tired and unwell I couldn´t prepare for "the Big Night" as I wished to do. I had a light but constant headache for the last couple of days - the result of too much sugar and chemical shit in my food and drinks. This headache and bad mood I carried over into the New Year. Three Stones of Wisdom

  A few days ago I was reminded about my deep connection with the Native Americans. I was sitting in a restaurant at the sea, writing diary, when a group of young people gathered in front of the restaurant, exactly in front of me.  One of them, a young man, long black hair, dark eyes, long black eye lashes, caught my eyes. A NATIVE! - everything screamed inside of me. I starred at him, couldn´t look away. My heart was beating faster and I felt an excitement deep inside of me, which reminded me of how much the Native Americans mean to me. I told a friend about that encounter a couple of days later. "Are you sure it was a Native?" "I don´t care about if he was a real Native or not. He looked like one and I couldn´t stop starring. The important thing is how I felt about it."
