Full packed day

An unusual day off today.

Waking up early - pretty early. I got up at 5:50am! That´s even earlier than on a working day. Am I getting old, I wonder?

Well, the reason why I got up so early was the start of my new blog. I was so excited to get it going. So maybe this threw me out of bed.
And I am pretty amazed how fast I got it going. Because I needed a title first and knowing from experience this could take me hours and costs me creativity!
But today I did well! Two thoughts and the right title was there:

"Being like a Feather"

I love feathers! Feathers incarnate everything important for me:
- Feathers - significant in the Native American culture
- Feathers - the symbol for writing
- Feathers - the connection between heaven and earth
- Feathers - my personal guide for years
- Feathers - an often used symbol with Highly Sensitivity

So "Being like a Feather" appears to be the perfect title for my blog. I am really happy about it!

After that hurdle was taken I wrote my first blog. Happy with the outcome I published it right away and got ready for an early morning swim.

At exactly 8:47am I was at the beach.
Diving into the crystal blue water, swimming in the calm sea, no people at the beach, the sun already shining hot, clear blue sky.
Priceless!
I am so grateful for those moments!
Even after almost 7 years living in Malta I still honour those moments with all my heart. Every time I am at or in the sea I think back when I was still living in Austria, dreaming of a life abroad. I try to remember those days being on vacation and the last day arrived and I was so sad because I had to leave. I so wanted to live at the sea!
Now I AM living at the sea and even after almost seven years I never forget to thank universe for making my biggest heart dream come true.

I had a long and relaxing swim and a short sun bath afterward (just to get dry). Then it was time for having breakfast at one of my favourite restaurants.
I haven´t been there since the start of the crisis. So it really was good to see the waiters again. Though it felt a bit awkward with all the "corona-changes" in the restaurant. I really hope we are back to normal soon. Because this still feels everything but normal ...

After a delicious breakfast I headed back home to get ready for an appointment with a friend. In the early afternoon we met for a short walk, a coffee and a long necessary chat. We haven´t seen each other for months.
Also something I still cherish with every fiber of my body: sitting in a café with an person from another country (Ukraine in that case) and chatting in English for hours! So incredible how my English skills improved and how speaking English has become so natural over the last years.

Finally I walked back home. Just stopped for a take away sushi on my way back home.

Rarely I have such busy days.
Did I enjoy it?
Yes, I did. It only was filled with pleasant things and therefore I don´t feel exhausted at all.

I love my life in Malta!
I love summer in Malta!

And looking at days like today I honestly can say that this is the kind of life I wanna live. Maybe not always that busy but filled with things that do me good.
